Job Overview:
As a Guest Relation Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable stay at our hotel. You will be the main point of contact for guests and will be responsible for handling their inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for providing information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain a good relationship with guests throughout their stay, anticipating and fulfilling their needs
- Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Assist with guest check-out process and ensure accurate billing
- Respond to guest feedback and take necessary actions to resolve any issues
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's products and services
- Assist with guest reservations and ensure accuracy of guest information in the system
- Maintain a neat and organized lobby area and ensure all guest areas are clean and well-maintained
- Handle any special requests or arrangements for guests, such as transportation, special events, or dining reservations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Fluent in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of local attractions and points of interest in Sulawesi Utara
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel reservation systems
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service to guests
