Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team for a 3-month full-time contract. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the staffing and recruitment industry. As an intern at STAR4Hire, you will have the chance to work closely with our team of experienced recruiters and learn about the various aspects of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with sourcing and screening candidates for open positions

- Conduct phone and in-person interviews with potential candidates

- Update and maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems

- Attend job fairs and networking events to represent STAR4Hire

- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews and sending out job offers

- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and job opportunities

- Shadow recruiters during client meetings and candidate interviews

- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a college or university program

- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Highly organized and detail-oriented

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with applicant tracking systems

- Previous experience in recruiting or HR is a plus, but not required

Location:

This internship will take place at our office in New Orleans, LA. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the intern may have the option to work remotely.
