Position: Culinary Intern and Trainee

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Culinary Intern and Trainee to join our team for a 6-month full-time contract. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in a fast-paced and dynamic culinary environment. As a Culinary Intern and Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced chefs and team members to develop your skills and knowledge in the culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes and menu items

- Learn and follow all safety and sanitation procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies

- Attend training sessions and workshops to develop culinary skills and knowledge

- Work with team members to ensure high-quality food production and presentation

- Participate in menu planning and development

- Provide exceptional customer service to guests

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a culinary program or recent graduate

- Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow

- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

- Fluent in English, knowledge of Turkish is a plus

- Must be able to obtain a valid work permit for Turkey
