Position: COMMIS (Chinese)

Location: Sumatera Utara, Indonesia

We are seeking a skilled and motivated COMMIS (Chinese) to join our team at STAR4Hire in Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. As a COMMIS, you will play a vital role in our Chinese cuisine kitchen, assisting our chefs in preparing and cooking delicious dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the chef in preparing and cooking Chinese dishes according to recipes and standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times

- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety

- Monitor food inventory and inform the chef of any shortages or expired ingredients

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

- Continuously strive to improve and learn new skills to enhance your performance in the kitchen

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a COMMIS or in a similar role in a Chinese cuisine kitchen

- Knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Valid food handling certificate or willingness to obtain one

- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
