Job Title: Banquet Supervison

Location: Sumatera Utara, Indonesia

Contract Details: Full-time

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team at STAR4Hire in Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet events, including coordinating with clients, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences

- Create and manage event timelines and schedules

- Oversee and manage all banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and event setup crew

- Ensure all event spaces are set up according to client specifications and company standards

- Monitor and maintain event budgets

- Address any client concerns or issues during events

- Conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with staff to ensure all details are communicated and executed properly

- Train and supervise banquet staff to ensure exceptional service and adherence to company standards

- Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and sales, to ensure smooth event execution

- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed

- Conduct regular inspections of event spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met

- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred

- Minimum of 3 years experience in banquet or event management

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning software

- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Previous experience in Indonesia and knowledge of local customs and culture is preferred
